I have never been prouder to be the son of Jim Bever or had more respect for what my father does than today. The turnout for his swearing-in ceremony was the largest ever and every colleague I talked to said something to the effect of "your dad is the most qualified man for this job and probably the only one capable of making this project succeed." This is a great honor for him and also a great responsibility, but if the testimony of 50+ people who have worked for and with him isn't enough to convince me that he's doing the right thing, I don't know what would be. Congrats to my dad.
