I DVRed THX 1138 in HD the other night and watched it last night. This is the movie that made Star Wars, Indiana Jones, American Grafitti exist. It's the namesake for THX audio processing. I gotta say, Lucas is a genius. I know I wasn't alive in 1971, but I imagine that seeing THX 1138 in a theater back then would have totally blown people's minds the way The Matrix did back in 1999. For his first full length theater release, this movie is impressive. Also, who knew Robert Duvall was such an attractive man 35 years ago?
